If you were in the SS and refused to kill a jewish person, that would be a dishonerable act for that society.

In the context of Roland's society, I think a betrayer is dishonorable to both Spain and France's societies. But by corrupting a knight, it elaborates more on how the "Pagans" are evil and underhanded compared to the Christians.Eachus24601https://www.blogger.com/profile/10732751703042956669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6684876902659145247.post-55135492132666113062008-04-13T19:42:00.000-07:002008-04-13T19:42:00.000-07:00I don't think that the betrayer is either honorabl...I don't think that the betrayer is either honorable or loyal. He has betrayed his loyalty to the person he was supposed to honor, so why should the new person he honors think that he will be loyal to them? It's a viscious cycle, and the person that commits these acts is doomed to live as someone who can't be trusted.Megan Beckerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12049969698395981703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6684876902659145247.post-86728228152689039302008-04-12T11:43:00.000-07:002008-04-12T11:43:00.000-07:00Honor can not be in a negative or positive way ins...Honor can not be in a negative or positive way instead it just is. I would think that to be honorable you would have to be morale. Betrayal I believe is relative to what a society thinks. If something is out of a morale act is it really cosidered betrayle.Nina Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10718206648775193540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6684876902659145247.post-21934320445336491662008-04-11T06:51:00.000-07:002008-04-11T06:51:00.000-07:00Betrayers can't be trusted either way. It's a character flaw that follows people around..Eachus24601https://www.blogger.com/profile/10732751703042956669noreply@blogger.com
