Led Zeppelin and LOTR

I'm a pretty big fan of Zeppelin and I don't know if anybody else is. But Robert Plant's favorite books were the Lord of the Rings. Some of their music was inspired by the books and of course, it rocks. If anyone's interested just Google Led Zeppelin and Lord of the Rings, you'll find some interesting articles. Keep on Rockin!

Lez Zeppelin is a legend in Rock ... i mean these people made rock and the rock that you see these days literally sucks .. no meaning just shouting. I didn't know about the connection so thanks :)

Also a major and long time Zeppelin fan. There are really quite a lot of songs that have LotR related things in them. Best one is probably "Ramble On". Whole section about Gollum and the ring and Sauron. Excellent stuff.

There's also "Rivendell" by Rush

The German metal band Blind Guardian also draws heavily from Lord of the Rings. they tend to focus on the "evil" characters of the books.

Yes! Blind Guardian is one of my favorite bands! They have an entire album based off the Silmarillion called "Nightfall in Middle Earth."

That so cool, there is definitely a resemblance. I really enjoy Zeppelin, atleast some.
