After watching that video in class today, I couldn't help but think of one of the greatest films ever...Apocalypse Now. I guess it has the same idea as Excalibur with the music. Great scene.

Just to throw this out there, but according to imdb.com the entire trilogy of LOTR movies took the same amount of time to film as Apocalypse Now.
I think Apocalypse Now is a great interpretation of Heart of Darkness. I think movies--in the hands of different directors--can prove to be incredibly satisfying. I think Apocalypse Now does a good job at creatively remaking Heart of Darkness in a film format, and the LOTR films did a decent job in their own respective way.
